Fie \( X\subset{\mathbb{R}^n} \) o multime compacta care separa \( \mathbb{R}^n \) in doua componente conexe. Atunci doua functii continue \( f, g: X\to\mathbb{R}^{n}-\{0\} \) sunt omotope daca si numai daca ele au acelasi grad.
